Boasting releases on Pacha Recordings and Anjunadeep as well as his own Acryl Music, Da Funk is just as prolific as he is talented. 'The Prophecy' is a rolling, deep and energetic slice of tech house aimed squarely at the dance-floor. Da Funk expertly builds up an atmospheric groove over the first three minutes before unleashing old-school acid tweaks, drum breaks and finally a wonderfully uplifting piano hook that's sure to raise the roof.

Label owner Sumsuch takes the helm for the first of two remixes, dirtying up Da Funk's chord stabs by putting them through a guitar amp whilst adding warm, deep bass and classic House drums for a late-night club workout. Sumsuch's trademark melodic approach is highly evident however, particularly in the smooth, chord-laden breakdown.

Ultra-talented London producer Finest Wear provides the second remix, which is typically intricate, floaty and deep. Showcasing that euphoric piano alongside teasing breakbeat snippets somehow lends this version the feel of a 90's rave classic, without any need for hi-vis jackets or Vick's Vapour Rub to enhance the experience.

Ladies and gentlemen, girls and boys, please welcome our labels' yearly sampler release. Starting past spring, we present you not one but two samplers - from both our imprints, Spring Tube and Spring Tube Limited.

And this year we prepared two dozen of brand new exclusive original tracks for both Spring Tube's 5th sampler and Spring Tube Limited' 2nd sampler.

Silk Textures welcomes Slovak phenom Peter Illias, a longstanding contributor to label affiliates Silk Royal and Arrival. Peter has come into his own this past year, with radio support by Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, and various other leading progressive and trance artists. He now showcases his "deeper" side with "Summer Vibes", which also includes standout remixes by genre veterans Da Funk and Forteba.

The Original Mix is a gorgeous slice of atmospheric and sexy late-night house music. There are various vocal effects and crystalline melodies, which paint an elaborate soundscape. The steady rhythm and fluttering synths truly transport the listener to the heights of a summer holiday.

On remix detail, we are proud to welcome Swiss legend Da Funk, who not only has worked as a celebrated producer-DJ for nearly two decades, but who also is the founder of the acclaimed Acryl Music imprint. His "Sommernachtstraum Rework" is a vintage deep cut, which highlights the provocative female vocal elements and radiant synths of the original.

Finally, Hungarian talent Forteba, who is perhaps best know as 1/2 of the accomplished progressive house duo Colourblock (with Lank), offers a groovy and jazz-influenced rendering. One of the most striking elements is the resonant and funky bass, which gives this interpretation a bit more dancefloor appeal, especially when combined with the snappy percussion.

Producing electronic music since 1997, Switzerland's Daniel Kneubühler aka Da Funk makes his first return to the label since "Anjunadeep 03"'s "Weekend Rubdown" with this double hit of deep melodic house goodness.

A dreamy laid-back cruise through washing pads, warm melodies and blissful bleeps, "Smug" is a cult ID from James Grant's Anjunadeep edition back in February. An instant gem, its release puts an end to months of forum speculation with they track also finding support on Above & Beyond's Group Therapy.



A slightly more energised affair, "Don't Let Go" is equally memorable with rich interlocking melodies, a hooky vocal and a beautiful, subtle piano motif that appears throughout.
